“Did you know that more than 51% of the U.S population listens to podcasts and that nearly three out of every four podcast listeners tune in to learn new things on a monthly basis?”
In a recent article published by JD Supra, Poston Communications Vice President Ioana Good provides facts and insights on podcasting as a strategic tool for business leaders and marketers seeking to get their message across amid COVID-19 disruptions.
“While some of these business development activities are not possible in the same way now, businesses who want to remain competitive still have to come up with creative ways to deliver valuable content, industry news and updates in different ways to stay ahead and build their brand,” says Good.
Recognizing the sharp increase in podcasting during this time, she provides six ways firms can launch a successful podcast. These include:
- Provide valuable content,
- Determine a length and timing,
- Choose a catchy name,
- Pick attractive art to use in podcast branding and promotion,
- Build trust by producing regular content, and
- Promote your podcast.
