For law firms and their prospective clients, spring means the release of the latest Chambers USA rankings of attorneys and legal practices. This year, the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has suddenly changed the way Chambers and Partners is doing its work, as it has for nearly all organizations and businesses around the globe.
Chambers has closed its London office and is postponing events scheduled for March and April, in accordance with guidance from government health officials.
Like Poston Communications, which works with law firms and attorneys to prepare submissions for Chambers rankings, the entire Chambers workforce is working remotely using secure technology. Meanwhile, Chambers staff members are continuing to do research and conduct phone interviews.
Deadlines for guide profiles and content required for Chambers Global Practice Guides remain the same. However, if law firms are encountering issues with their submissions, Chambers is encouraging them to reach out to discuss. “We are sensitive to the issues our law firms’ contributors may face and will be flexible with our submission deadlines wherever possible,” Chambers says on its website.
Chambers USA 2020 Release Date
Chambers says it is “currently on track for the next release of rankings” in the Chambers USA 2020 Guide to Top Lawyers and Law Firms, which is scheduled for April 23.
Chambers remains the most important source of comparative intelligence about law firms and almost always is part of the mix of resources that clients and legal professionals use to learn more about a firm. Poston Content has prepared successful submissions for international, national and mid-market firms in a variety of practice areas and continues working with law firms and attorneys.
During these uncertain times, experience matters. The Poston Content team is well-versed in providing support and guidance throughout the Chambers submission and interview process.
Our Crisis Communications Team is also available 24/7 and rapidly responding to various issues related to the COVID-19 outbreak. If your organization requires immediate assistance, please contact Poston CEO Dave Poston at (678) 358-5876 or Vice President Megan Paquin at (407) 432-7066.
