In a podcast released on The Main Course on February 2, 2021, Poston Communications CEO and General Counsel Dave Poston and Vice President Megan Paquin discuss how employees are managing crisis communications for restaurants.

“Crisis communication is now way beyond the regular problems restaurants faced. Now they have to cope with the constant stress of a new challenge,” Poston says.

With the onset and development of COVID-19, the restaurant industry has been hit harder than many others. Through this challenging time, effective internal and external communications are more important than ever.

“They should consider reputation as their most valuable asset outside of financial ones,” Paquin explains. “Restaurants are thinking about dollars but sometimes forget about reputation.
