Megan Hodgkiss

Megan Hodgkiss, J.D., Ph.D., has a unique communications background which includes more than 20 years in content marketing, copywriting, print and broadcast journalism, magazine features, as well as legal research and writing. She is also a licensed attorney and trained mediator.

Megan holds a doctorate in public communication and is a proud Georgia State University alumna. She is a 2022 winner of GSU’s 40 Under 40 Award for influential and impactful alumni.

In addition to her media and legal work, Megan enjoys volunteering within her legal community. She is an Editor-in-Chief Emeritus of the State Bar of Georgia’s Bar Journal, a former member of the Atlanta Lawyer Magazine editorial board and a past chair of the award-winning Atlanta Bar Association’s Women in the Profession Section. Megan has held leadership positions within the Atlanta Bar Association Foundation, Georgia Association for Women Lawyers, Atlanta Bar CLE Board of Trustees and the Historic Oakland Foundation Board of Trustees.

Megan regularly helps fundraise for health awareness and historic preservation campaigns. She is based in Atlanta.
