Tyler Reed is a seasoned corporate communications professional with a proven track record of orchestrating unforgettable brand experiences for clients’ audiences. A strategic communicator he works with Poston’s public relations and content clients to develop influential brand messaging, generate buzz and maximize media exposure.
Prior to joining Poston, Tyler was the founder and managing director for a copywriting agency catering predominantly to law firms and insurance agencies, as well as numerous marketing and PR firms. He is also a regular guest on industry television segments and podcasts and has been featured in several leading publications, including The Business Journals, Forbes Councils and SHALE Magazine.
Tyler began his career in finance, managing a portfolio of municipal bonds at the Bank of New York Mellon. Years later, he led a high-visibility civil engineering firm’s marketing and business development teams with numerous award-winning federal, state and local infrastructure projects.
Tyler holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Florida, where he was inducted into the Omicron Delta Kappa leadership honor society.
In his spare time, Tyler lends his talents as an officer in the Florida State Guard, a volunteer organization that assists Floridians during emergency response.
Tyler reserves down time for his family. On the weekends, he enjoys surrounding himself with the beauty that nature affords around his hometown of Jacksonville, Florida. His favorite pastimes include kayaking, hiking, trips to the beach and generally any activity outside with his beautiful wife and three amazing girls.
He also enjoys volunteering through his church and with many veterans advocacy initiatives, such as The Fire Watch and Wounded Warrior Project. Tyler is an avid football fan and will be cheering on his hometown team, the Jacksonville Jaguars, and alma mater, the Florida Gators, every time they play.
