Poston Communications is pleased to welcome three public relations interns to our team this summer. Claire Palacio, Matthew Reynolds and Garrett Tumlin joined the team in the Atlanta office June 3 and have been actively participating in PRecision Curriculum sessions, team meetings and fun outings planned by our Culture Committee. Learn more about each of our interns:

Claire Palacio
Claire Palacio graduated from Kennesaw State University in December 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in Spanish. She previously served as a marketing intern with Infinite Energy Center. At Poston, Claire has secured placements in publications such as Risk Management and BenefitsPRO.com for her clients. Upon completion of the Poston internship program this summer, she hopes to gain valuable experience to help further her career in the public relations field as well as develop lasting professional relationships. In her free time, Claire enjoys swimming, reading and taking her pup to the dog park.

Matthew Reynolds
Matthew Reynolds graduated from Wofford College in Spartanburg, South Carolina this past May. While pursuing degrees in government and business from Wofford, Matthew was the goalkeeper for the men’s soccer team and served in student government. Additionally, he has spent several summers working in Washington, D.C., in Congress and with lobbying and political marketing firms. This summer, he is writing and pitching timely story ideas, coordinating media placements, and providing support for clients through project management and business development. Outside the office, he enjoys working out, playing golf, spending quality time with family and friends, and avidly cheering for Atlanta’s sports teams.

Garrett Tumlin
Garrett Tumlin recently graduated from East Tennessee State University with a master’s degree in brand and media strategy. At ETSU, Garrett served as the news editor for the school paper and a team member of the university’s Strategic Media Club. Garrett hopes to gain experience and valuable skills to help him succeed in his future career in public relations and community engagement. When he’s outside of the office, he enjoys watching sports, listening to music and working out.
