Poston Communications is proud to support PRSA Georgia for a first-of-its-kind gathering. On March 23, the Georgia chapter of the Public Relations Society of America is combining its two marquee events, the Annual Conference and Real World, to bring professionals and students together for a full day of educational sessions, professional development, networking and cross-generational perspective on the public relations field. Poston is a Student Silver Sponsor, and we are especially excited to meet the next generation of PR leaders during the afternoon career fair.
Today (March 12) is the last day to register at the regular price. Late registration ends March 19.
The conference, with theme of “Braving the New World,” will be packed with educational programming to better position PR pros for success, including a morning keynote on the importance of corporate social responsibility, a lunch presentation on empathy in media from Parisa Khosravi, formerly of CNN, and a media panel discussion with Sophia Choi from WSB-TV, Jim Burress from WABE 90.1 FM and Jonathan Landrum from The Associated Press.
Poston Communications account supervisor Mikey Mooney, who serves as co-chair of professional activities for the conference, also will be speaking. He will join a panel discussion guiding students on the topic of “How to Be a PR Rockstar.”
