- Ioana Good, legal marketing, LMASE, Poston Communications
Poston Communications is pleased to announce the addition of Ioana Good as vice president. Good brings more than 20 years of experience working with law, architecture, construction, engineering and commercial real estate firms on their media relations and business development initiatives. With keen insights into the combination of both principles, Good guides clients in advanced PR programs that underscore firms’ sales goals.
“We are excited and grateful to have Ioana join our growing team of seasoned PR professionals,” said Poston Communications President Monica Smith, who oversees the recruitment and talent development initiatives for the agency. “Her deep and diverse experience lies at the intersection of media relations and business development, right where we most enjoy helping our clients succeed. We have worked with Ioana for many years through our mutual leadership in the Legal Marketing Association and are proud to have her as part of our team.”
Having sat on both sides of the table in the newsroom and in the boardroom, Good understands the power of the media and the pace with which it moves. After starting her journalism career at The Boston Globe, Boston Phoenix and Tribune Media, Good entered the corporate environment where she led marketing and business development efforts for engineering, construction and commercial real estate firms. Later in the legal field, she spent over a decade helping lawyers grow and expand their brands.
As a native Romanian speaker, Good is able to assist a wider international audience.
She is the former president of the Legal Marketing Association Southeast (LMASE) Region, and currently serves on the LMA International Communications and the Professional Advocacy Groups.
Previously, Good served on the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association board of directors.
She received her undergraduate degree in journalism and international relations from Northeastern University in Boston and her master’s degree in corporate communications and technology from Rollins College in Orlando. Good is a certified graduate of the Ackert Advisory Business Development Institute in California. She is a published author, and she designed and taught the first new media course at Rollins College.
