November is a month of gratitude and giving back.
Our company’s mission and values were built on the foundation of service and our team shows commitment to our community through service to professional organizations and community partners. As an agency, we share a passion for giving back to organizations that aim to improve our industry and our world. Many team members volunteer their time and talents in individual pursuits that reflect their varied interests.
Our team was recently named Volunteer Group of the Year by one of our pro bono clients, Kids House of Seminole. Led by Senior Account Supervisor Kali Hammond, APR, our team has provided hundreds of hours of our time and skills to help launch Kids House and their newly selected CEO Juliette Kong into the community through public relations outreach. Kali also serves alongside the Board of Directors as chair of the Marketing Committee, providing guidance, support and suggestions on brand awareness to highlight their services, events and prevention efforts.
Kids House is a children advocacy center that serves as the single point of contact for child abuse investigations in Seminole County, FL. They work to provide aid to child victims of abuse by providing all necessary services from report and investigation through treatment and prosecution in a child-friendly environment. Each year, approximately 1,500 children visit their center for forensic interviewing and medical examinations, crisis intervention and advocacy, referral and information, mental health therapy, and education and prevention services.
In early November, our Orlando team attended Kids House 13th Annual Gala at Reiter Park in Longwood to help raise money and awareness for the children and families of Seminole County. We were among other community organizations who rallied together to show support on the nonprofit’s biggest night of the year.
