LMA Conference: Recap of Presentations and Breakout Sessions

We are at the LMA Annual Conference in Austin, Texas this week, and as part of our work producing the LMA Daily Conference News, we are recapping some of the presentations and breakout sessions.

In the April 11, pre-conference program, “Legal Lean Sigma and Project Management White Belt Certification Course,” legal marketers from around the country gathered to learn about the development of quality processes, and how effective management of those processes can be an excellent way to deliver value for their firms – and ultimately their firms’ clients.

Catherine Alman MacDonagh, CEO and co-founder of the Legal Lean Sigma Institute and Timothy B. Corcoran, principal of Corcoran Consulting Group, led the session.  

While we all use processes to work effectively, sometimes we are so hurried that we don’t take time to recognize all of the individual best practices that contribute to our work product. Analyzing and formalizing those best practices to create formal processes for project management is one of the ways we leverage our time and ensure quality.
