It is commonly asked now about a firm’s own diversity statistics but also its financial support of diverse vendors and other partners. In addition, law firms who seek the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index score must now report that they hire LGBT suppliers to maintain their 100% score or to increase a lesser score.

Aligning Awards and Recognitions with Business Development Strategy
As the next elevation of our public relations work, we would welcome the opportunity to discuss and propose a strategic list of awards opportunities that the firm will seek for the remainder of 2023 and beyond. marketers must manage a multitude of attorney directories and recognitions submissions, and while it is important to have a database of those (which our team maintains for you), we want to ensure that we’re capturing the opportunities throughout the year that underscore the firm’s business development goals.
Law firms that wish to maintain their Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI) rating must demonstrate “Three Distinct Efforts of Outreach or Engagement to Broader LGBTQ Community” from among five “demonstrate[d] ongoing LGBTQ-specific engagement that extends across the firm.” One of the five is a “supplier diversity program with demonstrated effort to include certified LGBTQ suppliers.” Poston Communications is a Certified LGBT Business Enterprise® (Certified LGBTBE®) by the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC).
