Brent Godwin

Brent Godwin brings 14 years of journalism experience to his work at Poston Communications, where he strategizes on media opportunities for clients. The bulk of his career focused on reporting on the commercial and residential real estate industries, and he has also written about public companies, law, banking, health care and IT.

Before joining the agency, Brent was a reporter at Law360 covering litigation and regulations related to real estate nationwide. He also worked for multiple B2B trade publications, where he helped launch and operate digital assets, including websites and email newsletters.

Brent is especially proud of his inclusion in the Florida Bar Reporters class of 2022 at the state Supreme Court.

Away from work, Brent is devoted to his family. He married his college sweetheart and is father to a 4-year-old daughter and a newborn daughter. He is an avid reader and collector of books, constantly finding himself needing more bookshelves.
