Katherine Malahias

Katie Malahias is a public relations intern at Poston Communications, where she assists with drafting media materials and developing communication strategies for clients.

She is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public relations and corporate communications at the New York University School of Professional Studies.

Previously, Katie worked as a coordinator in the Alumni Affairs department at the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While there, she excelled in managing the school’s social media presence, writing press releases, and crafting content highlighting faculty and student achievements that aligned with strategic outreach goals.

Katie earned her bachelor’s degree in public relations and communication studies from the University of Miami School of Communication.

In her free time, she enjoys exploring New York City, attending sports games, and spending time with friends and family.
