Leila Medina is an associate at Poston Communications, where she works at the intersection of media relations and brand development for her clients. She advises on strategy while managing the day-to-day details of client accounts, drafting press releases and pitching local and national media outlets to secure high-impact placements. Leila also collaborates closely with the media relations and content teams on a variety of client projects.
Leila’s connection to Poston began with the agency’s internship program, which she completed during her senior year at the University of Central Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree in advertising and public relations from UCF, with minors in English literature and hospitality management. Leila has since completed her master’s degree in communication, also from the University of Central Florida, further strengthening her strategic and analytical approach to client communications.
Leila resides in Orlando, Florida, where she enjoys reading and frequenting theme parks.
